DNS-323 GPL Source Code

D-Link releases the GPL source code for the DNS-323 on their Technical Support web site. Unfortunately it's a stupid JavaScript site, so I can't give a direct link to the DNS-323 page. Instead you'll have to follow these steps:

  1. Go to the D-Link GPL Source Code Support page.
  2. In the “All products” drop-down list, select “DNS-323” and click the “Go” button.
  3. Select the appropriate hardware version (e.g. A1 or B1). (Perhaps someone can post some information on the different hardware versions.)
  4. In the list of files that appears, click on the row for the version you want (e.g. 1.03, 1.04, etc.). Yes, I know those don't look like links, but click on one anyway. Trust me. If the version you want isn't listed, then according to the GPL Source Code Support page, you can email tsd@dlink.com.tw to request it.
  5. Click on the file name to download the .tgz file.
  6. Enjoy. Let us know what you find.

I haven't tried to build any of this and I don't even know if it's worth bothering with. I didn't see any obvious links in the Wiki or Forum (except buried in a few threads about specific versions) so I figured an obvious page was in order.

upd1: The revision (A1 or B1) is located on the label on the bottom of the device next to H/W.

upd2: direct URL for source code
