Re: Harddrive checking problem. - NTFS is inconsistent

I have no idea how you even managed to scan it. My web UI says drive is busy, cannot scan. It says I should restart thouh I just restarted it. I even added the umount, chkntfs and ntfsfix in the fun_plug before any other commands. Still won't scan.

DNS-323 - Excellent in many cases.
DNS-313 - Love it, but hate that D-link only prior the DNS-323 development.
DSM-G600 - Noisy, slow, unstable and ugly. I simply hate it so far.

Re: Harddrive checking problem. - NTFS is inconsistent

Connect the DNS-313 to a Windows computer, with USB, and use scandisk. It will solve the problem. (I don't know why, but chkntfs fails to repair some ntfs errors ...  and exits on a "segmentation fault")
