Hi,

sorry, I had a DNS-313 since 2 days. The first thing I did was to install the last firmware. As the link to the last 1.03 was dead on the french dlink support site, the support send me the good link. I installed it but it is 1.04 and I did not found any info about it. I notices a "go ahead" logo on the login page I did not remember seeing it on the previous version.

I didn't even know firmware 1.04 was released. Could you paste the link ? Is there any "changelog" file ?

Just had a look and the D-Link website and I can not see the new 1.04 firmware update. It would be great if someone could shed some light on this as there are a few bits that I would love to be sorted out.

Hi the original link I received included a login/password but it does not work anymore. This was a temporary password I think so that I could download it. There is no readme with it.

The link to rapidshare has now maxed out at 10 downloads, saying it needs to be moved to a Premium or Collectors account before other people can access it. Thierrybo, would you be able to put it up again? Or, can one of the 10 people who downloaded it (v1.04) be kind and put it somewhere that we all can access?

But be careful: the zip file seems to be corrupted, you shouldn't try this firmware.

Here is a download link for the firmware. I have flashed this on my A2 DNS-313 and it is working fine. ZIPped (store) and verified.

Seems the dlink tech made a mistake and should have not send me this link if the firmware is not released officially.

Sure. we should wait for the firmware to become official, and for the release notes to be published.

I think for the moment, we haven't any big issue, with firmware 1.03.

But we must admit that Dlink is not very fast at publishing updates.

Was there an "add-ons" entry in advanced menu before? As I flashed the nas as soon as I get it last week, I can't compare. This seems to install language packs and "applications packages"?

Created iTunes dir from one of the menus(not iTunes menu).
Went into iTunes web page, and try to setup iTunes, NAS crashed (I think), and all I see in iTunes is save settings and that other button. Nothing else.

Anyone know where the config is kept so I can fix whatever is missing from the iTunes config?

I setup itunes and it works, but I believe you can't create folder from the web interface I think. I created the folder with the network share and point to it with the NAS.

Hi all,

Could someone repost 1.04 fw?
the only post left is the one uploaded by Electrocut on Free but the Zip is corrupted.
I'm French and my concern about this fw is to improve the uPnP compatibility with Freebox uPnP server (for now this is only working with image files).
If anyone tested that, infos are welcome.

By the way sorry it does not help to read avi from freebox HD. I use mediatomb from fonz fun plug instead and it works, although the movies do not always start the first time. You have sometimes to try several times.

fun_plug package system is in the "Basic linux user" column, this is the least intrusive way, no debian installation.

Karaka: no, since they only prior giving users of the DNS-323 these benefits. But you could always install Clutch and Transmission.

I never understand why dlink has different support pages and services around the world :\
Anyway... In the Australian Dlink support page, there's an official 1.04B05 firmware.

Problems Resolved:

About Bittorent, I installed Transmission on the DNS 313 and it works fine.

rapo: Agree, as for DSM-G600 Ive seen lots of different firmwares in different regions. Mine was sold in Sweden and came with a firmware only downloadable from UK support site. I had a hard time reinstalling it since none of the swedish downloads worked and i needed the Easy Search utitlity thing from UK.
