Just and addendum, I had a power failure last night.
I think my DNS-343 shut down right. I have it plugged into an APC SmartUPS-1500 connected via USB.
I'll go check the logs for it's UPS daemon. But seriously, the web logs show nothing. There's no webGUI config to email on power failure stuff.
dumb.
As for Samba, it doesn't support the [homes] declaration. Such a nice feature. You can (and I did) add it - but it breaks the webGUI that doesn't understand the smb.conf config lines. Duuuhhh.
I complained to D-link about both of these things. Hopefully, they'll add it.
I just thought I would mentioned it to everyone.
