Win7 and mapping a network drive *patch*

Trouble mapping a network drive on Win7 Home Premium ??
M$ want us to pay for Win7 Profesional bla bla bla to give us the possibility to map
a network drive?? NO WAY heheh

double click on the file an press OK 2 times then restart Windows

Did you really test this and got it working, because I have the exact same setup, and this is not working for me. Client is Windows 7 Home Premium and it will not connect to the DNS-313!! I see the DNS-313 in Network, I can also double click it at show the Shares, but when I try to connect to the shares everything just hangs for a while, and then message about not finding the share....

From my old XP box everything is just working fine.

How is it possible to make an OS that messes up the day for very many people. It is not uncommon to have a NAS at their house???
Are there any specific tweaks to the smb.conf file on the DNS-313 that should be done?

Sure it workes for me otherwise i should have not posted this ;-)
I also have win7 home premium.

I have not made any tweak to the smb.config

Here's an Update.... Finally got it working by doing your trick initially, then I changed the MTU value to 1400 on the web page setup of the DNS-313 under LAN Setup. Weird that this did the trick!!

I have Windows 7 Ultimate, and this does not work for me. I have the default version of Samba that came with 1.08.
