Hi everyone!
my videos in my 'videos' folder in 'Volume_1' went missing suddenly..showing the 'videos' folder as an empty file.
I went to my dns-343 web browser and it shows sync time remaining: Degraded.
Being a computer noob I thought that restarting any electrical device will solve the problem. I went to restart my NAS and my entire 'Volume_1' disappeared.
i'm terrified to do anything now. Can someone give me any advice? I'm using 4 1.5tb seagate hdds and upon accessing my DNS-343 web browser i found out that under hard drive info under the status tab, i only have 3 drives left. Is there anything i can do to recover my data?

hi all,
seems like i solved the problem by updating my firmware. Now I can see my volume_1 again, and showing that my RAID has degraded.
I have no idea why updating helped too. Thanks to all who have looked at my post.
