Firmware Update problem

Hi,

I am currently using firmware version V3.11(AFG.0)C0, I am trying to upgrade to version V3.22 (AFG0)C0, the download .zip version I got from the Zyxel website didn't contain a .pdf document on how to upgdate the firmware, but after contacting their support I was told to put the firmware on a usb stick, and put that into the NSA-200, remove the network cable, and restart the NSA-200, the update should then take place automatically.
I have tried this a number of times with a 64mb usb stick and a 4gb usb stick, but each time no upgrade takes place. I have also tried to install it via the web interface but also to no avail.

Does anyone have any idea what I am doing wrong, or why the update is not working?

Thanks
Neil

Re: Firmware Update problem

I can be mistaken, but I thought you have to update to 3.12 using a stick, and then use the webinterface to update to 3.22.

Does the unzipped update a file usb_key_func.sh? If not, you can't use it to update by stick.

Re: Firmware Update problem

Thanks for the reply Mijzelf, there is no usb_key_func.sh in the zip file, so I guess it is not for updating with USB, but if I understand correctly, I will have to upgrade to 3.12 first via usb stick, and then use the web interface to update to 3.22. I'll give that a try.
