I have a friend using dns343 which is setup by me to use RAID5. Network cabling also done by me to connect to 3 PCs in home. Using a dlink 1gbit switch.
She complain about having intermittent network disconnection or drive disconnection. This happen while browsing files through windows explorer. Half-way browsing the folders, suddenly lose connection to the drive. Have to wait like 1 minute for the connection to come back. I am really stumped. I already applied the high speed fan freeze problem previously. This problem came after I applied that patch. Not sure if they are related at all but that's what I was told anyway.
I don't think it's the cables problem cause I tested it already. The gigabit switch problem perhaps? But I am using the same gigabit switch at home and it gave me ZERO problem.
Any help on how to tackle this thing is appreciated.
