Re: v3.23 firmware for NSA-220(plus)

Trying to upgrade my box from the original FW version [ 3.10(AFG.0) ] using the GUI ... but no matter which one of the later FW .BIN files I try all I end up with after the "Please wait..." message box is an error message stating "Invalid firmware file."   I have tried this process from different computers as well with the same result.

Any help?  Am I missing something that's obvious?  I've downloaded the package(s) directly from ZyXel several times...always making sure I'm in the correct model (NSA-220 Plus.)  Any suggestions or clues would be greatly appeciated.  Thanks!

I think you have to upgrade to 3.12 first, using an usb-stick.

Re: v3.23 firmware for NSA-220(plus)

BINGO!  That did the trick.  First needed to upgrade to 3.12 via usb-stick, then was able to upgrade directly to latest version (3.23.)  Got a little worried after the initial reboot from 3.12 due to SYS light flashing for very long time, but then NAS came up without any issues.  Ditto for second upgrade to latest version.

Your knowledge and timely response with the one hint I needed is very much appreciated!
