Samsung F4 HD204UI with a DNS-320

Hi guys,

i bought a DNS-320 a few days ago. Now i want to use it together with 2x Samsung F4 EcoGreen HD204UI hdds. As you maybe know, the drives have a firmware bug, so the can "forget" to write data when there's a "IDENTIFY DEVICE" command (mostly due to S.M.A.R.T.-diagnostic tools).
This error only occurs when:
- The SATA hostcontroller is running in AHCI-mode AND
- using the NCQ function AND
- write cache is activated

Samsung is providing a firmware patch, but therefore you need to run the upgrade tool in a DOS environment which means much trouble for me. So can you tell me if the drives are actually affected by this error when I am using them in my NAS only? Are all three conditions fullfilled?
It would be great if you could help me!

Thanks!
