Harddiske size support?

Got an NSA-220 and was wondering wether I could put in 2x2 terabytes harddisk? I know manual says 2 terabyte support, but perhaps it will support larger disks?

(wont spend the money on hdds if it dosnt support larger disks, then I would rather buy a new NAS).

Re: Harddiske size support?

On this compatibility list are several 2TB disks. But it is possible that you can only build a raid1 with it, as there could be a volume size limit. (raid0 or jbod would both give a 4TB volume).

Thanks! Im not looking for raid1 - just a shared media NAS for music, pictures and movies, so size matter ;-)

Re: Harddiske size support?

I am using 2 2TB SAMSUNG HD203WI disks in RAID 1 configuration with no problem. At the time I set up the array I was mostly concerned with security as I have lost tons of information in another box with RAID 0.
Please let us know if you successfully created the 4TB virtual disk (2 2TB in RAID 0 or JBOD).

Re: Harddiske size support?

I managed to get it running yesterday, using JBOD (had to create drives using IE - not FF)
