fun_plug 0.5 sshd issue with 1.04 firmware

Hello,

I just upgraded to 1.04 firmware for my 343 and now it takes ~20 secs to ssh into the unit.  When I was using 1.03 it was much quicker, once I am it seems fine, but very slow on each connect.  The same goes NFS on initial connect.

Has anyone else experienced similar issues?

It could be a DNS issue. Try to put 'UseDNS no' in /etc/ssh/sshd_config, and restart sshd. I wouldn't know about NFS.

Re: fun_plug 0.5 sshd issue with 1.04 firmware

Thx for the insight.  I found the problem.  It seems the /etc/resolv.conf file has the wrong nameserver address it is pointing to my router.  My DHCP options are correct 'cause all my other systems (including the 323's) get the right info.  Not sure how to fix this just yet.  Still thinking on it though ...

Well .... I think it is a bug :-(

I sorta fixed it by creating a startup script (/ffp/start/updateNameServer.sh) that will put the correct entries in the /etc/resolv.conf file.  I am happy again it is working, not so happy I had to create a script (not that it was hard) to fix this issue.
