How to change the root directory for mediatomb

Hi, i'm just starting with tweaking my dns-325 and i'm coming from a window world... everything is working great until now.

Thanks for all the great tutorials

I set up mediatomb and is displaying fine.

The only thing that bother me is that the root of the mediatomb filesystem is the ffp folder.

Is it possible to set up to a different folder on my hard disk like  :
Volume_1 -> Medias instead of Volume_1 -> ffp

Or do you have to use the ffp folder as the root of my new nas and put all my files in it and in his home folder like this
Volume_1 -> ffp -> Home and then create there all my media folders

Thanks for your answers

Re: How to change the root directory for mediatomb

Hi,
it should be easy to change:

1. stop mediatomb service (sh /ffp/start/mediatomb.sh stop)
2. edit /ffp/start/mediatomb.sh file - look for media_dir='...'  You could use command mcedit /ffp/start/medaitomb.sh ; F10 will finish editing and ask you if you want to save file or not ;-)
3. start mediatomb service (sh /ffp/start/mediatomb.sh start)

Best regards!
