I do not know about you but the sw2 in the motherboard looks suspiciously like a reset switch. Thoughts?
And, is jp4 the jtag port?

You're talking about a DNS-320 presumably? I only have the DNS-325, but based on what I know from there and looking at:-

* Serial and JTAG are next to the battery (the serial port is definitely there, and that's the same JTAG port as used on all other devices)
* In the foreground there is definitely a space for a button, and what at a guess are 2 more serial port headers, based only on having the same pin layout.
What the button could be for, who knows. There is already a reset button on the back. Detecting case opening?
I could do with another NAS and may be getting one of these, if I do I'll investigate what's going on here closer.
