Help with lost RAID5

I woke up this morning and was unable to access volume_1 on my dns-343.

I cycled the power on the unit and got a Caution Volume_1 degraded message on the display.  I ran smart test and the first 3 drives failed.

I purchased new drives hoping i could restore the unit but now when i log into the unit it asks me to format all the drives like a new setup.

I called dlink and they have had me reboot and upgrade the firmware with no success.

I am a newbie to this site and a novice PC user and am searching through the forum it looks like others have possibly resolved similar issues without data loss but I am unable to fully understand the steps they took to access and correct errors on their drives/unit without data loss.

Is there anyone out there that would be willing to walk me through possibly restoring my device?

I would be gratefull for any help or advice that you can provide.
