Anyone know hot to take a hard drive from a DNS325 and place it in a DNS345 without reformatting. I have the drive already configured in EXT4 format. I have a backup drive from my DNS325 that I'd just like to use in the DNS345. Rather then spending the next two days transferring data I'd just as soon keep the existing data. I could care less about raid.
It does see the hard drive but wants me to configure it, I stopped short of the formatting question. I set both admin passwords up the same, could it be a user configuration issue. It will not let me add users without a hard drive being added.
