I have been running firefly (mt-daapd-0.2.4.2) for quite a while now, and it works great with my Roku soundbridges, but its iTunes connectivity has been broken since iTunes 11 came out.
So, want to try forked-daapd, but I can't get past the libavahi-client dependency:
configure: error: Package requirements ( avahi-client >= 0.6.24 ) were not met:
No package 'avahi-client' found
I tried to build avahi, but it needs something called mcs (mono c sharp compiler) and I don't even see source code for that.
I'm trying to compile directly on the dns-325 - I don't have a cross-compiler tool chain built up, and I'd rather avoid having to do this.
Does anyone know where I can find compiled binaries for either forked-daapd or the libavahi-client?
