CGI or PHP calendar?

Hi!

Anyone know of a CGI and/or PHP calendar that can be used with a non-chroot'd lighttpd?

(I have fonz's fun_plug installed)

Re: CGI or PHP calendar?

I've been looking at phpicalendar. Didn't work with my php binary, but I plan to look at it again, later - need to find out the requirements.

Thanks, would be really great to be able and run a calendar locally without having to chroot. smile

I got phpicalendar to work - but like the gallery app, it's too slow for my taste (even with caching of parsed ical files turned on). I start to believe that it's a general problem with php on the DNS (static content with lighttpd is fast enough, though).

For the gallery thing, I started a script that creates thumbnails and static web pages in the background (took about 48 hours for about 2.5G of photos). But I think, it's not that easy for calenders. Any ideas?

Re: CGI or PHP calendar?

fonz, have you tried Webcalendar 1.1.2 on the DNS? They say it should work with SQLite, but only get db errors during the install..

Btw, ACal works, sort of, but imho lacks a lot that Webcalendar has.. Like that the week starts with Mondays where I live wink
