1.DDNS -> Timeout value can not be changed from 576. If a user's ip resets every 48 hrs they can not
tell DDNS to update every 48 hours because it is locked at 576 and gives an error.
2.Fixed clock drift issue.
3.FTP Server : remove Unicode and add Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese into the supported list.
And this modification makes more ftp clients to being supported.
4.UPnP AV and iTunes Server : fixed mp3 is unrecognized and can't be display correctly when id3 tag is not encoded by Unicode issue.
5.Fixed : Avoid putting a set of previously formatted Raid1 drives back to the unit will trigger a reformatting operation issue.
6.Quota setting: a minus number is not allowed to be as a quota input value.
7.Wrong ftp server's help file description, change default user from 5 to 10.
8.Limit the length of password and username of Email Alert and Schedule Downloads to avoid web crashed.
Max. length username and password of Email Alert is 31 characters.
Max. length username and password of Schedule Downloads is 15 characters.
9.Show error message when invalid Email address's format is input by user.
10.To block user to create a folder name with special characters like: ',<,? and etc.
11.System->configuration settings : if user upload a wrong configuration file,show an error message.
12.Quota Setting: avoid to input a quota value that is larger than the total available size of HDD.
13.Schedule Downloads : fixed incremental backup unworkable issue.

I am getting a warning message in the system log after upgrade to b82

md: mdadm(pid 1841) used obsolete MD ioctl, upgrade your software to use new ictls.

So what you are trying to say is that you are not getting the same message... well then I suppose it is specific to my setup although never noticed this warning on previous firmware.

Tilly and skydreamer, - if you have different RAID configuration for your disks,
this could be the reason that the md:mdadm ioctl error appearing on one DNS-323
and not the other.

What is the RAID configuration of your DNS-323(s)?

I got the same msg with dmesg. Running 1.04b82
I have run that version for 1 week now, and it works great, but what does this error msg mean?

Maybe, but RAID-1 should be RAID-1. Only the HDDs, the folder and files and the DNS-323 settings are different between skydreamer an me.

I´am wondering because there are only this two fixes with RAID after Vers. 1.04b63:

I'm not able to get the firmware through the posted link due to links not working through the google interface.

Can we get it hosted here or can someone post it to a DL friendly location?

The direct FTP site we used last time does not have the latest update.

The website is in "german"... rely on the following dictionary to complete the registration: http://dictionary.reverso.net/german-english/

After you complete the registration process, and push "absenden" (it means "submit"), you will receive an email to active your account... log in and go to Tilly's url to download the firmware (http://www.dl-support.de/forum/downloads.php?cat=85)

I have 2x750GByte disks in RAID-1, freshly formatted on the previous firmware release (end of November), maybe it has to do with the size of the disks?

The upgrade went well and without any problems or error messages; but did notice that I lost my assigned permissions to users and groups under Network Access Settings and as well under Ftp Server Settings. So I do suggest that you make sure how the ftp and network access was set up before the upgrade.

I did make an account the last time you posted the b63 info...same issue. The translation sites don't let me download and I can't read where to get the download if I go straight to the site. At least the FTP site was updated with b63...the new version isn't located on teh ftp site from what I can find.

Feel free to use google or yahoo's and see if your able to login and download through the translated page. I'll waste some more time moving around the site without google and use trial and error. Thanks for nothing.
