Blog without database.

Hi!

A very good Blog without database is Flatpress in www.flatpress.org . I think is good for DSMG600 and funplug.

Well chtioblogue is too a good candidat but why on dsmg600 ? There is many free webhosting for a blog

Hey guys, do you think it is really practical to use dsm-g600 as (regular) web server?
I mean, it's hardware part is relatively slow and by adding http traffic and server we will just overload the box?
For sure it's interesting to get it working, but as I see on my own box, MLDonkey already loads it a much.

By putting everything inside, I bet we will fall into over-engineering and finally lose primary goal - to make this thing more useful.

It's just my opinion, and I'm ready for objections

the down side that i see from flatpress is that it requires php, this means that it will have to load more things in to memory.

It works great as a personal web server using Lighttpd+php.  Instructions on how to get it running are outlined in Wiki.
