Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.

I have tried everything, searched this forum and found a similar problem but no soultion..
I have tried 3-4 fun_plugs and every known telnet for 323 but i still cant connect to my device.
I have absolutly no knowledge of unix or linux. Im on Windows..
The problem is that it says Cannot connect to 192.168.0.123 on port 23 trough CMD
The software Twonky for 323 finds (DNS-323) but gives me the message
Open a telnet connection failed, please check ip adress
whats the problem

Turn off all software firewalls.
Are you able to telnet to other telnet hosts ?

Are you sure that the IP address is correct?
Do you use DHCP in your network? Is your DHCP server configured to assign this address to the DNS' MAC address?
Which telnet client software do you use?

The IP Is correct. I can connet to the NAS and see my files, and when i connect to the telnet via Twonky DNS-323 it finds the name (DNS-323) but cant find any telnet.
Using DHCP, donīt know if it is assign the adress to DNS ?!?!
The ones found on this wiki..
Isnīt there a real newbie way for a windows user to install telnet and Twonky om DNS-323..
