DSM-G600, DNS-3xx and NSA-220 Hack Forum

Hi all,

I have a chrooted (etch) Conceptronics CH3NAS (Same unit as the 323).
Got hellanzb up and running including the par and rar side of it and i really like it.

I just have two questions, is it possible to use /dev devices in the chrooted envoirment ?

I'd like to use the usb port under the chrooted envoirment as i preferr using the chroot so i wont brick it to easily
The big question is would it be possbile to hook up a USB cdrw/dvdrw and burn cd/dvd's using the USB port or would that be asking to much from the unit ? As long as i can use the USB port for any device it should be a problem driver wise ?

Writing a nice web frontend for it all wouldnt be a problem..

I have read that the USB port *should* be 2.0 and i dont mind investing some time into getting this to work.
If anyone wants my chrooted (Hellanzb/lightttp/par2/unrar) envoirment just give me a pm.
