Has ANYONE gotten the built-in uPNP server to work on the DSM-G600? I've gone so far as to point to a directory that contains one albums worth of mp3 files and cannot get my PS3 to find any files whatsoever in any category.
And please don't point out that I can just put Gentoo or Debian in and install a different server, I'd just as soon not invest that much time in it since it's supposed to work out of the box (although I'll admit that fun_plug and telneting directly into the box is pretty cool).

The built in server is not working with the PS3 (and according to my experience, not much else either) so you might as well give up on that.
I tried installing ushare which is available on this site, but the compiled version seems to be to old. On my PS3 I can see the share, but all I get is a list of unknown filetypes which cannot be played. Apparently this has been resolved in the latest version, so if anyone has the ability to compile it, it would be much appreciated.

I'm looking for the same thing too. I downloaded the sources for the new version but there is no way to compile it...I couldn't find "make" and "configure" fails (i guess also an issue with busybox, also an old version).
