Hi. I was curious if anyone has been successful in finding a setup toward using the DNS-323 to send shoutcast/icecast streams to the Playstation 3 via UPNP/DLNA.
I have TwonkyMedia installed on my DNS-323. It includes support for providing internet radio streams (shoutcast/icecast) to UPNP devices. This feature works with my D-Link DSM-320, Roku SoundBridge and Archos 605 (though the Roku Soundbridge doesn't need it because it natively supports these streams), but it doesn't work with the Playstation 3. TwonkyVision's staff is aware of the issue, but they haven't addressed it as of yet (not sure if they ever will).
That's why I was wondering if anyone has performed an alternative setup on their DNS-323 with different UPNP server software that supports these streams and if it has been verified to work with the PS3.
Thanks.
Jeff

I use Twonky with a Onkyo NR905. The Twonky Iradio works fine through the Onkyo. This would suggest that there is something with the PS3 implementation of the upnp rather than the Twonky server implementation. That may explain why Twonky are not addressing the issue as it is with the PS3.

I thought I read somewhere that the PS3 doesn't support streaming radio streams at present as it must know the length of the stream - where as radio streams have no set duration. I could be wrong though.
