CH3SNAS Firmware on DNS-323? Makes sense?

Hello!

Is it possible to put the CH3SNAS Firmware on te DNS-323?
I need maximum performance for NFS - does it make sense to use the CH3SNAS instead of DNS-323 Firmware (with Fonz Plugin).

Thanx,

Chris

Hi xo-vision,

Give it a try and let us know if there is any performance gain.

Before you try anything - search the forum - I have a recollection of someone flashing DNS -> CH3 and then being unable to go in the other direction - you need to at least be aware of the potential pitfalls before making what could be an "irreversable" move.

I remember that post but couldn't find it. An irreversable  update is not worth it. So there is now way to revert back?

I've never tried and don't plan to - but here's the thread for your perusal

Thankx! But now 1.04 is out. I'll stay with DLink for the time being...
