I have tried to look at the network traffic using Wireshark but I cant figure it out
this is all I get that makes sense to me is I see a "ARP" protocal from my local computer just before it turns on and the description says "who has 192.168.2.112..." which is the DNS-323's IP
whats going here I called D-Link but the stupid indian on the phone didnt know what I wanted and hung up on me this happened 3 times and I said F-it I will post here
someone please help all I want is my NAS to turn off and stay off untill I open the folder on my computer

I don't use the power save feature, but I see quite a few posts from
users who are struggling with it. Possible causes for wake up have
been suggested, DHCP and lpr Are you using any of those services?
Which firmware and RAID setup are you using?
Search the forum and wiki this topic is discussed frequently.

the protocols are SSDP and ARP and NBNS that seem to come before it wakes up yea I use DHCP because the internet dont work if I turn it off and "lpr" not sure what that is
up to date firmware using "1 big disc" raid
searched most problems were from printers and such but I dont have one hooked up so its not that
