MLdonkey, no connections to Fasttrack, Gnutella and G2

I have the MLDonkey 2.9.2 (edonkey,bittorrent,filetp,directconnect,gnutella,g2,fasttrack,gdlib) from Shadowandy up and running. Donkey, Fasttrack, Gnutella, and G2 enabled. BitTorrent is working.

It conncts to only 3 Donkey servers. No connection at all to Fasttrack, Gnutella and G2 servers. How do I connect to these networks?

I think they are disabled at compile time with that build - enabling them would require a recompile.

Re: MLdonkey, no connections to Fasttrack, Gnutella and G2

Fasttrack is the Kazaa network and its rubbish. edonkey is the sucessor and rightly so.
Gnutella and G2 require setting up current server lists, I had a bash, took ages and not many decent file results, again edonkey far superior.
if you look at the mldonkey website you will notice developement on Gnut and G2 has ceased years ago.

If your donkey is getting a low ID, ie firewalled, you need to open up the relevant port for mldonkey on your firewall.
