I had a 1.02 DNS-323 running just fine with two 400GB drives running RAID1. My AC adaptor died, so D-Link replaced my entire unit. I received another 1.02 DNS-323, and I inserted my drives (in the same slots that they were removed from my original DNS). When I booted, I ended up with two separate disks (Volume_1 and Volume_2) which appear to be identical, instead of a RAID1 (just Volume_1).
I don't have the space to back the drives up and reformat to RAID1, do I have any other options?

Yes, but you need to have telnet access to the dns-323 and the new drive has to be partitioned the same way like the main disk, which I assume has the software RAID partition.
From the terminal start raid (raidstart) if it is not running (check /proc/mdstat) and then hot add the new disk to the array, the raid will start to sync.
There is another post on this forum detailing the process.
