Hi,
I've recently re-mapped my DNS 323 using the IP address instead of the pathname, and everything works ok except a minor
annoyance that I managed to get rid of once but can't seem to do again now I'm using the IP address.
When I right click on a file on the NAS, I get a dialogue box telling me that the file may represent an "Unspecified Security Risk" and
asking me if I want to carry on or not.
I remember getting this when I first set up the NAS, and I just had to add the pathname to the Local Intranet sites under Internet Options in IE7.
When I add the IP address to the list of sites, the dialogue box still comes up. I've tried just adding the drive name (N to the list of sites, and
the list also then gets :-
file:\\192.168.1.99
added to the list, but then when I right click on the file it still gives the dialogue box.
Any ideas anyone ?
Cheers,
Highlander

Ok, apologies for not including these at first.
One screen shows the dialogue screen popping up, called dialogue box.jpg, and one is the local intranet drive settings page that I hope is
giving permission that the IP is safe to use, called Local Intranet.jlg.
They're both included in the attached ZIP file.
Thanks for any help,

Just to add one thing, in the tick boxes for the Local Intranet settings (defaults to Automatically Detect Intranet Network), I've tried unticking and ticking
all combinations of boxes, and this also makes no difference, and will not get rid of the dialogue box.
