BT Home Hub

Hi,

I'm considering a DNS-323.  Does anyone (in the UK) have experience of using this with a BT Home Hub (wireless router that comes bundled with ISP package)?  Specifically, is the connection stable (doesn't fall off during file transfer, especially larger files > 1GB).

Many thanks,

Rob

Re: BT Home Hub

DNS323 doesn't have a wireless connection, but it will work fine if you connect it to the home hub using a network cable (the yellow cable/sockets on the Home Hub). Very reliable indeed.

Re: BT Home Hub

Sorry, my original post was unclear.  I meant connecting the DNS323 to the Home Hub via a network cable, then accessing the DNS323 over my wireless network (via the Home Hub).

Thanks for the quick response!

Re: BT Home Hub

That would depend on your network environment.

If it works well through a wired connection, but not through a wireless one, the problem would lie in the wireless network - I have no problems transferring files of any size through my wireless (which is not the BT Home Hub), other than the expected drop in performance.
