I have upgraded to firmware 1.05 and re-formatted the drives. From easy search, it shows I am using unicode. I have no problem viewing those chinese characters from linux. But from my windows xp, I only see scrambled characters.
Anyone know how to solve this problem?

Managed to solve this problem. This is because I forgot to add a "iocharset=utf8" in my mount command in linux.
