I realize that numerous threads exist describing how to configure the DNS-323 to join an Active Directory domain but most do not go into details afterwards regarding how it enables the device to authenticate against the users and groups in that domain. Furthermore, they do not indicate how, once you have done this, you can use it to create shares based on those Active Directory users and groups.
Ideally, I would like to authenticate against an Active Directory server so that I can create shares on the DNS-323 that are accessible to different users and groups on our already-existing Active Directory domain.
Has anyone successfully done this that would be able to provide some advice?
