Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.

hi,
im completely new to linux stuff, so give me a chance to ask you something.
Problem:
i downloaded some files via BitTorrent. I moved them from BT/completed directory to another dir. Now I cant delete them. I think problem is that they now have only root permisions. I would need to delete them via some script or via telnet if possible.
can you give me some links to good linux scripting tutorials? (scripting should not be problem for me, but I have to learn the linux especialities )
or can you give me pls some example script?
I think it could be done via funplug file. I thought I would create one script file named fun_plug and its only content would be somthing like "delete /myDirectory". Please, show me the way.
Thank you

You could do that, but if you make a mistake, you could delete a whole lot more. I would recommend downloading fonz fun plug (ffp) and using that for telnet access. Then you can use the telnet access to erase anything you want using the command line.
FFP: http://dns323.kood.org/howto:ffp - I personally use ffp 0.5
