How to delete Bittorrent files?

Have 1.05 installed with the supplied BitTorrent. After I download something using the BitTorrent, I can remove it from the GUI fine but it does not delete the actual download from disk. When I try and delete it using Windows Explorer (in Vista) I get 'You need Permission to Perform this Action' . I see that others have raised this issue before but its all a bit technical for me (newbie). Cansomeone outline the step and exact commands required so I can do this. It seems amazing that Dlink do not have an option on the GUI to delete what you have downloaded. Do they think we want to keep stuff forever?..... I guess some people may suggest other Bittorrent apps but at the moment (due to lack of experience) want to run with the supplied one....

Thanks
Tony

Re: How to delete Bittorrent files?

OK, have worked out how to do it via the rm command through Telnet. Now, is it possible to do it through Windows????? And DLINK (if your listening) put a damn delete download button on the GUI !!!!

chmod -R 777 /mnt/HD_a2/BT/complete/

this works.

Make sure you download using the same account you use to access network shares.
