NAS lost drive mapping after reboot vista.

Whenever I reboot , my NAS drive will not map back to the drive letter upon restart .

Any way to make it permanent ?

What client OS are you using?

This is a client OS related issue - in XP there is a check box "Reconnect at logon" - if that box is checked, the drive will be remapped the next time that user logs on to that system, Vista should have something similar.

Vista does, but when setting up the map, you must specify "Connect using a different user name".  In the dialog that pops up, you need to put in the user name and password of a valid user of the DNS.  And, as fordem said above, you need to check the box for reconnecting at logon.
