Hi,
I initiated a large (8 gig) transfer to the FTP server on my DNS device and can no longer access the drives under "My network places".
The Volume 1 and 2 are there, but the computer column next to each volume says "unknown".
Using the easy search utility, the device is found but trying to map a drive (volume 1 or 2 - it doesn't matter - both fail), and from there I type my username and password (I assume this is the username and password I use to access the web admin??) it takes a second, then tells me it cannot map the drive.
I am hoping that when the FTP transfer is done it will let me map the drives again.
The IP address has not changed.
Any ideas? Using DHCP but the ip is the same and no computers have been added or removed from the network, no power failures or reboot so I doubt the is an issue.
