I have a dsm-g600 which I successfully got telnet access to and even have a print server installed on it. My question is with the FTP server. I would like to share a directory via ftp /HD_a2/Data/FTP. I can share the directory just fine however I also have an Upload folder in the same directory. I can only set R/W for all folders or Read only via the Web interface. Is there a way to make all the files in /HD_a2/Data/FTP readonly to users but make /HD_a2/Data/FTP/Upload Read/Write for all users? I have been searching Hi and low and I can not figure this out. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Can anyone help? Or is my question not clear enough? Please let me know and I will rephrase the question if you do not know what I mean. Also if it means running a different ftp service I have run both vsftp and pure-ftp but I am not sure how to configure the users. I am missing the user add function. Thanks!
