Please help me with this very silly question I have the password set for I tunes and have entered the same password in to the itunes programme.
How do I add my music to the dns323 for it to be viewable and playable on other pcs in my network.
Sorry and I am sure there will be more stupid questions.
I have uploaded the latest firmware and have 2 250 G Western sata Drives

You'll need to change the location of your music library in iTunes to reside on the NAS. Look under Preferences -> Advanced -> General. I suppose if you then click on Consolidate Library, it should copy your music files on your PC to the new iTunes library location. I've done this manually, so I don't know for sure.

My TVShows don't show up through the shared server.. any suggestions? Or is the server just for music?
Thanks!

The current iTunes server on the DNS-323 only supports Music. I believe in order to see your movies you would need to update to the newest firefly following these instructions http://dns323.kood.org/howto:firefly

You have 2 options as I see it:
1 - Redirect in Itunes
As described above, change the path in Itunes to the DNS323-location.
This should be done on at least one of the PC's / Mac's in your network (preferrably the Mac if you have one as a HTPC since it will then allow artwork in Front Row).
To get the max out of this alternative, enable the "let Itunes organize your library" and also select the option "copy files to library when added to itunes".
2 - Set the DNS323 up as an Itunes server
Surf into the DNS323 config page and enable the Itunes server, direct it to the music folder on the DNS323 and restart it.
When this is enabled and you have enabled the Itunes-installations on the other PC's to search for other Itunes installations (Edit - Preferences - Sharing - Look for shared libraries) the DNS323 will appear in the left pane in Itunes under Shared Libraries.
Just click it and it will show all songs added to that folder.
This is in my opinion the prefered alternative for all but one PC's.
The only drawback is that the DNS323 has to be restarted to update the list with new songs added to the library.
The setup at my place is one "master" with alternative 1 and the rest using alternative 2 - minimum administration, maximum availability
Hope it gave you some ideas!
