Backup from one disk to second

Hi!

I am searching for the *easiest* way to back up my CH3SNAS' first HDD to the second one. I would like:

*Possibility to have it performed automatically in a chosen interval
*Transfer only changed files
*Security (write validation?)
*Speed

So, let's assume I don't know anything about Linux. Is there a most foolproof method to fulfill my wishes? BackupNetClone sounded a little complicated.

Regards
Ben

Conceptronic CH3SNAS FW 1.03, ffp from USB key.

Re: Backup from one disk to second

Start to learn linux.  Then you can use one of several programs discussed in the forum, such as rsync.

DNS-323     F/W: 1.04b84  H/W: A1  ffp: 0.5  Drives: 2X 400 GB Seagate SATA-300
DNS-323     F/W: 1.05b28  H/W: B1  ffp: 0.5  Drives: 2X 1 TB  WD SATA-300
DSM-G600   F/W: 1.02       H/W: B                Drive:  500 GB WD ATA
