ARMedslack - a port of the Slackware® Linux distribution to ARM

ARMedslack can be run on the DNS-323 rev A1:

The wiki page describes the installation. It can be booted through the reloaded modules, firmware and bootloader are not touched. ARMedslack is installed to a subdirectory, so the permissions of the partition's root directory can remain 777 ( http://dns323.kood.org/forum/t407-Runni … THIS..html ).
