Sudden problem with transfer via WLAN

Hello. I had 2,5 MB/s transfer from my NAS to my laptop over the wirless network (ond its ok) but suddenly it turnes to 12-14 kB/s. What could happend? I didnt changed anything on my laptom/router/NAS. My NAS is plugged into Asus WL500gP router. With cable connection nothing changed, its still about 90 Mbit/s. Anyone had a similar problem wirh WLAN?

Re: Sudden problem with transfer via WLAN

Just because you can't another WLAN doesn't mean there isn't one - SSID broadcast can be disabled.

Intereference from another 2.4 GHz device - microwave ovens, cordless phones, wireless surveillance cameras, wireless baby monitors, game wireless game console remotes, bluetooth devices - you get the idea....

Re: Sudden problem with transfer via WLAN

You can attempt to locate the source of the interference and fix or remove it - or - you can try switching channels on your WLAN (use 1/6/11) - or - you can run an ethernet cable.
