Access denied, unable to connect message for printer

I have a Brother HL-2170w connected to the dns-323 running firmware 1.05.  It works fine for a while, but then I'll go to print and nothing happens.  I noticed that I have an 'access denied, unable to connect' status message for the printer.  If I delete the printer and reinstall, it works fine for a while, but eventually goes back to the same status.
What gives?

Re: Access denied, unable to connect message for printer

Out of curiosity - why would you want to connect a Brother HL-2170w to the DNS-323?

The HL-2170w has it's own internal print server and supports both wired & wireless access - just connect it directly to the network and be done with it.

That's a good question.  The instruction manual made it seem like you had to have a dedicated print server to serve up the print queue.

Re: Access denied, unable to connect message for printer

It supports what Brother calls "peer to peer", where the printer connected to the network and each user prints directly to the printer WITHOUT printing through a central queue.
