ushare standalone

Hi!

Has anyone managed to get ushare running on the DNS 323 as a stand alone (without Debian)?
Have tried the binaries for the DSM-G600 but no success...

Any hints?

Re: ushare standalone

This thread has been dead for a while, but I'd really like to get ushare running standalone, too.  I've tried using the built-in upnp server to stream video to my DSM-320 but the video stalls after about 10 minutes.

I tried compiling ushare-1.0 & libupnp-1.6.1 using the gcc-3.3/uclibc toolchain and got a binary that'll run briefly, then segfault.  Any suggestions on how to debug that?  Can I get gdb running somehow?  Has anybody else made any progress on this?

The output I get is:

Code:

# LD_LIBRARY_PATH=`pwd`/lib bin/ushare -f etc/ushare.conf

uShare (version 1.0), a lightweight UPnP Media Server.
