Mod'ing mp3 Info in iTunes

Just got my 323 and updated the f/w to 1.05.  To get the Telnet capability, I installed ffp.  I am using a Mac running OSX 10.4.11.

Before creating users and groups, I decided to test the iTunes server that came with the 323.  I copied some mp3 that I had yet to import into iTunes onto the 323.  I did the copy using the Mac Finder after creating a "Music" folder on the hard drive and using the web admin to associate the folder to the iTunes server.

Problem...I can't mod the song's information in the Mac iTunes (Get Info[mation]) from the shared 323.  Using telnet, the file's owner is Nobody and the permissions are -rwxrwxrwx.  Is this a feature/bug of the standard iTunes server?

2nd Question.  After I find the solution to the above, what contents of my iTune library do I copy to the 323?  The whole iTunes folder?  Or just portions of it?  (I read somewhere that the playlists are not used by the server.)

TIA.

Re: Mod'ing mp3 Info in iTunes

Bump.  I saw the link to the Tutorials.  But, there was very little info.  Google search turned up nothing.  Any body seen a how-to on using mt-daapt?  All I've seen so far is how to install mt-dappt, not any on using it.
