Upgrading from 1.03 to 1.05

Should I lookout for anything in particular for this update? I have funplug, and it's pretty old, like 1 year or more. I don't do many fancy things on this, I just like having telnet access to change password and such (change the password to a size under what it allows). I guess I should back this up too. I have 2 drives, 200GB, in mirrored mode.

In theory, just upgrade and restart and should be as before, right?

Re: Upgrading from 1.03 to 1.05

Back up the data, upgrade the firmware, reformat the drives and restore the data - there was a change in the disk partition structure between 1.03 & 1.04 and you'll probably see prompts to reformat the drives (which you can skip) if you don't do the reformat.

Re: Upgrading from 1.03 to 1.05

Any particular reason you need to upgrade the firmware? If not, 1.06 is around the corner, and you might want to upgrade just once.

And yes, you'll probably want to reformat the hard drive(s) going from 1.03 to 1.05 or later.

I wrote a script a while back for making this upgrade and saving your data.  You can search for it on the forum.
