Mediatomb: serving MP3 with non-english characters in filename

Hi everyone,

I recently installed Fonz's fun_plug 0.5 on my DNS-323 (FW 1.06) and have started indexing my video, images, and audio with MediaTomb.

Over the years I've accumulated a ton of mp3 tracks with chinese characters in their names and those filenames are showing up incorrectly in the MediaTomb web interface and on my DLNA client (a PS3).

However, the filenames appear correct in:
1) Windows Explorer and iTunes
2) iMac Finder and iTunes
3) in 'ls' output when I telnet to the dns-323

I tried changing the 'filesystem-charset' settings in config.xml to values like UTF-8 and ISO-8859-1 (rebooting MediaTomb after every change) but haven't had much luck in getting those filenames to appear correctly. Does anyone know offhand if there's anything else I should check? Could this be a SMB issue?

Thanks in advance,
Jeff
