How to start JBOD on a existing NAS

Hello

im using the 323 a few months wit 1 Samsung 501.
now i want to upgrade with a 2nd Samsung.

Can i insert the new Samsung without loosing existing data ?
Can i convert to JBOD without loosing the data ?

Yes, you can add a second drive without loosing the existing data - if your existing drive is in the left side slot, put it in the right side slot and put the new one in the left.  If you have the existing drive in the left slot, the drive name changes, which can be quite hair raising, when the data is no longer where you expect it to be.

No, you cannot convert to JBOD without loosing the data.
