Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.

Has anyone tried getting the USB UPS support to work? If so, can you give a little bit about the details. We don't want to take a chance to upgrade unless this truly works and is user friendly in the real world.
Also, how does everyone like the fan off feature at low temps? I can't wait to make this work!

What would you like to know about the UPS support?
It works, it's non configurable.
Plug your UPS comms cable into the DNS-323 and the UPS, plug the DNS-323 power into the UPS, plug the UPS into the wall and turn everything on - log-in to the DNS-323 and check the status page, where you have previously seen the printer information, you should have UPS information, and hopefully it correctly identifies your UPS and reports it as on-line and as having a fully charged battery.
Unplug the UPS from the wall - after several seconds the status should report the UPS as on battery, and you should also see the battery charge levels dropping over time - when you get to full battery depletion (whatever your UPS thinks is low battery) the DNS-323 will shutdown.
You may be able to configure your UPS (using a PC and the manufacturer's utility) to issue a low battery alarm at a different level and so shut the system down earlier, but you cannot make any adjustments from the DNS-323 - you also cannot (from the web interface) configure the DNS-323 to send UPS monitoring messages to another system powered from the same UPS, or to recieve UPS monitoring messages from another system if the UPS monitoring is being done by the other system. (or I haven't figured out how)
In case it's not obvious - I am not impressed.
