Installing Openfire IM on a DNS-323

Hey has anyone ever installed JAVA runtime on the DNS-323 or alike...

I want to use one of my many DNS-323 as a backup IM server running openfire.

http://www.igniterealtime.org/projects/ … /index.jsp

I run openfire in-house for my business (LOW LOAD) about 50 users on-line at once...Uses very little CPU and I think the DNS could handle the load...

Just never put JRE on a linux variant quite like this...I usually run Redhat Enterprise Linux...

Anyhow...Any help would be appreciated...

Or better yet is there a way to use the RPM distro of openfire on the DNS, I know probbly not, But had to ask...

I know there is not much processor here but openfire has never given more than 2-3% util after startup ever on my old Compaq deskpro EN linux box (C-633 512Meg ram 250GB Driver )

Thanks in advance

BH
