Terrible poor speed

Hi,
yesterday i pluged my new DNS-323 to my home network.
My router is Linksys WAG325N ...
at this moment i  have Linksys NAS 200 too.
In TC speed between my computer WIN XP SP2 ( Athlon 64 4000+ 2 GB RAM ) is about 3-4 Mb/s
but transfer to DNS-323 is less than 800 Kb/s.....
what can be wrong...... ???????
In DNS is only one HD   Samsung 1TB

Thanks for help

Re: Terrible poor speed

Check your network - the DNS-323 is in most cases an order of magnitude faster than the NAS200 - it is capable of close to 10MB/sec on a 100mbps LAN and over 18MB/sec on gigabit.

Were you using wireless for the transfer?

Agree.  I've gotten 6-8Mbps from a 100mbps LAN, 3-4Mbps over 802.11g, and 14-18Mbps on GigE.
